iPhone 7 Plus Falls From 1.5 Feet, And Then Blows Up!
We have seen Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had some serious problem in the factory battery anode and cathode cell contact, resulting in overheating and can cause the battery to catch fire. We have also seen few cases where iPhones also reportedly exploded.
We have seen Pregnant Mom gets second-degree burns while she left her iPhone to charge. There are few more cases. However, the reports from Chinese tech site Gizmochina says that an Apple iPhone 7 plus exploded after being dropped.
The report says that the new iPhone 7 plus was working flawlessly. It was accidently dropped from hand from the height of approx 1.5 feet, the phone started to vibrate continuously and smoke began to pour out of the device.
The battery was exploded in no time leaving the iPhone 7 plus screen cracked and nearly detached from the phone itself. Not much details about the incidence were shared. However, the picture that was circulating among Chinese media suggests that there was at least some kind of small fire.
The internal components of the device which are usually made of plastic have been melted. This is different from the Galaxy Note 7 incidents. In most of the cases, the galaxy note was exploding on their own, not as a result of a drop. Therefore, we could assume that the phone might have exploded due to hard fall which might cause the battery to explode.
So, if you are feeling that your iPhone is getting over heated then don’t waste your time and simply rush towards the Apple’s authorized service center as soon as possible. As the prevention is always better.
